Order now with confidence — because if a gift doesn't quite work out, HelmetsUp.com offers one of the industry's most flexible holiday return policies.
For qualifying gift purchases made between November 15 and December 24, 2008, returns can be made through 14 days from Christmas: January 8, 2009
Returns Must Meet ALL Applicable Criteria
If your returned product does not match all applicable criteria listed below, it will be rejected by our Returns Warehouse and returned back to you at your cost. Consequently, any credit request will be denied, replacement orders will not be made, and you will be charged for all shipping to and from our Returns Warehouse that may be incurred by HelmetsUp.com. By requesting a return in violation of this policy you hereby agree to accept our shipment of the return back to you and to the payment of all shipping costs to and from our Returns Warehouse. Our arrangements with our suppliers and manufacturers allow us no room to make exceptions.
Basic Criteria - All returns must include the following:
- Original packaging with unused condition (manufacturer's box, styrofoam, plastic bags, etc.)
- No items appearing damaged, scratched, scuffed, soiled, or worn will be accepted for a return.
- The return must be complete and include all accessories (components, manuals, tags, labels, etc.)
- Items received with any writing (include labels) on the original manufacturer's packaging or box will be refused and returned to you at your cost and without credit approval. Please use another box (brown shipping box) for your return shipment.
Basic Return Policy
- You can send back any regular priced merchandise within 14 days from the date your product left the warehouse (regardless of when you actually took delivery of the product) for a refund.
- Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in brand new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and basic returns policy, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase, excluding your original shipping and handling charges.
- It is your responsibility to cover the cost of shipping a product back to us. No C.O.D. shipments accepted. Therefore, please be sure to check your order for sizing, color and quantity before you complete the ordering process. Please call us about any concerns regarding the sizing of helmets.
- Our warehouse personnel inspect all items before shipping to you. If your item appears comprised in any way that renders the item "not resalable," the item will be returned to you.
Special Return Policy - Defective Products
- Products with manufacturer defects, flaws or production error as determined by Helmetsup.com will receive the full refund including shipping.
- Defective products can only be returned in exchange for the exact same product, or at the sole discretion of HelmetsUp.com, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase. Defective products may only be returned within 14 days of the date your product left the warehouse (regardless of when you actually took delivery of the product).
- Once your return is processed, and is verified to meet the basic criteria above and to be defective, your replacement order will be sent to fulfillment. How quickly your replacement product ships after that depends on product availability.
- HelmetsUp.com in its sole and absolute discretion shall be the sole determiner of whether a product is in fact defective.
- Please provide instructions for exchange or refund for your defective products.
Return Procedure
- Please complete the Return Merchandise form (your package slip).
- Verify that all merchandise is in the original packaging with unused condition, and that all components, manuals, tags, labels and accessories are included. Do not mark on the original product packaging.
- Insure your return shipment to us. Do not use the helmet box to ship the helmet back to us (please put the helmet box inside another box). Helmetsup.com is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
- For your protection, use a "traceable" shipping method such as UPS Ground.
FAQs
A: When will my credit card be credited?
Q: Once your return has been received and accepted we will credit your credit card within two business days. However, please allow one to two billing cycles for your credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement.
