West Ham chairman David Sullivan has confirmed that captain Declan Rice will be sold in the summer of 2023 as promised.
Declan Rice led the Hammers to a 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the Europa League final yesterday. Becoming the latest captain after Bobby Moore, who guided the club to the Champions League title Winners Cup 1965.
When the 23-carat footballer wrote a page in history for the club. Sullivan kept his manly word and was ready to sell if a reasonable offer came and he wanted to go.
“I think it’s going to turn out like that (selling Rice), we promised him to leave.” he told talkSPORT.
“That doctor was determined to go. agreed to get a satisfactory offer. And the team was looking for a replacement.”

“I think offers will start coming in on Thursday because 3-4 clubs are showing interest. But still considerate of West Ham, which is in the middle of the competition. So I haven’t submitted a purchase to distract the players.
Three of the top clubs are Arsenal , Manchester United and Bayern Munich with the Hammers looking for £100m .
